Opulence, introspection, boldness, and—I would dare say—explosiveness are all terms I would use to describe the works I present, which generally reflect and dictate my “visual vocabulary.”
Deeply rooted in an expressionist perspective and approach, they draw upon and reflect—as you will no doubt surmise—my training in fashion and my passion for the history of costume.
They are also, and above all, an expression of a need to explore the human figure through the most spontaneous gesture, the emotion of the moment, and a palette of colors that I prioritize in each of my creations.
Acrylic, dry pastels, graphite, and colored pencils are all part of the mix.
