Artist's statement:
After a career in teaching, I picked up my paintbrushes again. I work with dry pastels, watercolors, but mainly acrylics on canvas.
I like my paintings to illustrate a thought, a reflection on our society. I often incorporate cats with elements of urban architecture. These can be the main element or hidden in the canvas.  I use bright colors and, to tie it all together, a touch of humor.
