A word from artist Daniel Leroux:
Opulence, introspection, audacity, and, I would dare say, explosiveness are all adjectives I would use to describe the works I present, which generally reflect and dictate my “visual vocabulary.”
Deeply rooted in an expressionist perspective and approach, they are based on and reflect, as you will no doubt guess, my training in fashion and my passion for the history of costume.
They are also, and above all, an expression of a need to explore the human figure through the most spontaneous gestures, the emotion of the moment, and a range of colors that I favor in each of my creations.
Acrylics, dry pastels, graphite, and colored pencils are all used.
