A word from the artist:
In my work, I am primarily interested in architecture, landscapes, and various elements of nature.
I seek to capture images of the same object or environment, varying my angle of approach.
This allows me to reconstruct an almost three-dimensional image of the photographed object by superimposing these different shots using a computer graphics process.
Ultimately, depending on the variations in saturation, this process produces an almost ghostly image, concealing several subtleties that can be detected little by little as the eye scans the work.
It is as if an object were revealing its many facets in a single image, or as if several different views of the same environment were being revealed to us at once: our perceptions change depending on the angle.
The memory of a place or an object also changes over time, losing its precision. We retain a fleeting, blurred image of it, and at times, a particular detail comes to mind, but rarely the place or the object in its entirety.
Memory is selective and often elusive: this is what I mainly try to illustrate in my work.
